Box Score NEW ORLEANS -- The Louisiana State University of Alexandria softball team completed a three-game sweep over Xavier University of Louisiana with a 4-3 victory in the series finale.

Lainee Bailey drove in three of the Generals (17-8, 9-0 RRAC) runs. She drove in Haley Fontenot in the third and an error on the play allowed Kaetlyn Dunbar to score as well for a 2-0 lead. In the fifth, Bailey roped a double, driving in both Dunbar and Sophia Romero.

The Gold Nuggets (5-15) scored in the sixth and seventh innings. Miya Covington notched an RBI single before Amaya Williams drove in a second run in the sixth. In the final inning, a triple from Lexi McLin brought around Morgan Jackson. Rylee Guillot (5-0) struck out Jada Hughes before getting Arin Dale to pop out to end the game, stranding the tying run at third.

Guillot went the distance, allowing five hits and striking out striking out five. 

LSUA hosts Texas A&M-Texarkana net week on Friday and Saturday.
