GAME ONE | MNU 7, LSUA 3
The Generals (3-2) took their first loss of the season against MidAmerica Nazarene (1-0) with a final score of 7-3.

Kaetly Dunbar went 3-for-4 and scored two runs.
Kilee Moody had a pair of hits.
Alyssa Soileau (0-1) was charged with a loss; she went three innings and allowed five runs, two earned, on four hits. She struck out one.

The Pioneers scored a total of seven runsoff eights hits. The Pioneers' Mandy Brown (1-0) held the generals at bay. She tossed a complete game and allowed four walks and seven strikeouts in the game.

MNU opened the scoring with four runs in the first inning, including driving in a pair of runs off of RBI singles.

After the Pioneers added a run in the second,
Haley Fontenot drove in
Sophia Romero with an RBI single.

MNU added two runs in the fourth before the Generals began their comeback effort lead by a sacrifice fly by Molly Sistrun,k before
Lainee Bailey forced home
Kaetlyn Dunbar in the sixth.

Brown halted the comeback effort to preserve the win.

GAME TWO | WCU 8, LSUA 7 (10 INNINGS)
The Louisiana State University of Alexandria (3-2) dropped their game of the Generals Showdown to William Carey University (2-0), 8-7 in a 10-inning game.

Alyssa Boutte (0-1) took the loss, allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits. She struck out three. Dunbar went 3-for-four with two runs scored. Romero collected two hits, two runs scored, and two RBI.

The Crusaders scored a pair of runs in the third and fourth. They took a 2-0 lead.

Romero earned the Generals their first run in the fourth inning, scoring on a wild pitch. Moody drove in Romero in the sixth after the Crusaders added a third run in the fifth.

The Generals tied the game, 4-4, in the seventh inning when Romero doubled to left field, driving in
Livie Thibodeaux and Soileau.

At the beginning of the eighth inning, the Generals fell two runs behind, but they evened the game up again with an RBI single to left field from
Jillian Howell, followed by a sacrifice fly from
Kamille Lightfoot to bring Dunbar home to even the game 6-6.

William Carry University scored two runs in the 10th inning on a pair of RBI singles.
Hayden Cary led off the inning with an RBI double to left center, driving home Dunbar.
Rylie Jeau Theriot drew a walk to put runners on first and second. A sacrifice bunt from
Caitlyn Riche advanced the runners from second and third, but Julia Shaw retired the next two hitters to end the ball game.
