THE GENERALS
LSUA went 3-0 in the LCU invitational, including a pair of run-rule wins over Nelson and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical (Ariz.).

Haley Fontenot was named the Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday and received the NAIA Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday. Fontenot hit .714 on the weekend with a pair of home runs and three runs batted in. She scored seven times and swiped five bases.

The Morgan City, Louisiana native became LSUA's career stolen base leader with her second stolen base against Nelson, pushing her career total to 68. Fontenot broke Brooke Thomas' previous record of 67.

MANU finished last season with a record of 21-27 and a 12-12 mark in the Heart of America Conference.

The Pioneers hit .292 as a team in2025 with 16 home runs and 168 runs driven in. The stole 22 baes in 26 attempts. Dakoda Hobbs returns for her sophomore season after hitting .333 last season with a .712 OPS. She stole eight bases and drove in nine.

Mandy Brown led the Pioneers with 160 innings pitched. She posted a record of 10-12 with an ERA of 2.98 and a WHIP of 1.28. She recorded 175 strikeouts and an opposing average against .246. The Pioneers posted an ERA of 4.03 and struck out 283 hitters.

SCOUTING WILLIAM CAREY
The Crusaders ended their 2025 season with a 36-19 record.

The Crusaders' own Julia Shaw returns as a senior this year. Shaw had a batting average of .420 in 2025. She led the Crusaders in slugging percentage at .595. She drove in 41 runs and hit 14 doubles. She has also slammed three home runs and had 78 total bases under her belt.

In the circle, returning senior Reanna Neiman led the team with a 1.06 WHIP. She struck out 121 batters over 173.2 innings. She allowed 37 walks.

SCOUTING CENTRAL BAPTIST COLLEGE
The Mustangs finished the 2025 season with a record of 31-27. The team posted a batting average of .295 and an on-base percentage of .370. They hit a total of 31 home runs on the season. Their '25 season ended in the NAIA Opening Round.

Melanie Phillips had a 2.31 WHIP in the 2025 season as a junior. Alex Jeter had the fewest runs allowed on the team during the 2025 season, allowing 0 runs over 18 appearances

The Jaguars open their season undefeated, going 4-0.

Kelsey Perez is a senior this year and has made 22 appearances with 5 runs scored and 8 stolen bases. Alyssa Carer returns to the Jaguars as a junior, coming off a good sophomore season with a 3.47 batting average and 18 RBI. She was also named second team All-Conference and RRAC Player of the Week in February of 2023.
