ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball team hosts North American University and Xavier University (La.) in Red River Athletic Conference play.

THE GENERALS
LSUA picked up a win over North Texas-Dallas in their last outing. The Generals are 7-10 on the season and 6-6 in RRAC play.
 
Reese Stephens recorded a career-high 19 points in the win against the Trailblazers and tallied a career-high seven steals. Stephens is averaging 7.6 points per game and has dished out a team-high 65 assists on the season.
 
Sydney Person continues to lead the LSUA offense, averaging 13.2 points per game. She is shooting 48.0-percent from the field and 90-percent from the free throw line.
 
SCOUTING NORTH AMERICAN
The Stallions are 9-5 overall and 7-5 in RRAC play. They have won their last two games and are 5-1 when playing away from home.
 
NAU is averaging 70.2 points per game and allowing 64.2. They are shooting 42.4-percent from the field as a team.
 
Aliyah Solis leads the Stallions in scoring, averaging 12.9 points per game. She is shooting 50.9-percent from the field and 46.9-percent from long range. Savannah Velazquez is also recording double-digit scoring efforts, averaging 11.7 points per game.
 
LSUA is 3-2 all-time against North American University. They are 1-1 when playing at The Fort.
 
SCOUTING XAVIER (LA)
The Gold Nuggets are 9-7 overall and 6-5 in RRAC play. They have won their last three games and are 3-3 when playing on the road.
 
XULA averages 62.6 points per game and allows just 56.8. They are shooting 38.2-percent from the field as a team.
 
Shania Swan leads the Gold Nuggets in scoring, averaging 13.3 points per game. She is knocking down 41.3-percent of her shots from the field and 32.1-percent from beyond the arc. Alicia Blanton (11.9) and Tiarra Tillison (10.0) are also averaging 10 or more points per game.
