PREVIEW | No. 5 Men's Basketball Takes on Eagles, Bulldogs in RRAC Play

Presented by Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The No. 5 Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's basketball team hosts Texas A&M-Texarkana before hitting the road to take on Jarvis Christian University.

"Texarkana is playing really good basketball," LSUA Head Coach Dimario Jackson said. "They play hard, their guard put pressure on the paint. We have to limit their paint touches and keep them off the offensive glass. We have to dictate the tempo of this game. Jarvis is super athletic with some good size inside. They have guys who can make open shots and are crafty with the basketball. It will be a tough road environment; however, our guys are ready!"

The Generals (14-1, 11-1 RRAC) are coming off a 109-75 victory over LSU Shreveport. This week's games against Texas A&M-Texarkana and Jarvis Christian officially marks the opening of the second half of the season.
