PINEVILLE, LA- The Generals were able to get back into the win column as they took down Red River Rivals, the LCU Wildcats in a nail biter win, 76-74.

It would not be a true matchup between the Generals and Wildcats if things didn't come down to the last seconds of the game.Â

After a dog fight between the two teams who were able to keep the game close for the entirety of the game, it was
JD Allen and
Kashie Natt who came up clutch when the Generals needed it the most.Â

Tied up with 12 seconds remaining in the game,
JD Allen able to get a steal from Wildcats, Ferontay Banks, that ended up in
Kashie Natt's hands for the basket to put the Generals on top. With 7 seconds left after Natt's basket, Wildcats tried to respond, but a missed lay-up from Banks and a rebound from Hardy that went out to Johnson for the three pointer, was called off and the Generals get the sweep.Â

Kashie Natt not only had the game winning basket but poured in 22 points on the night for the Generals. J.D. Allen also had a huge night with his game changing steal and 18 points on the offensive end.Â
