A graduate of the University of California School of Medicine and Brown University, Dr. Garrison has been the team physician for LSUA Athletics since 2007. An orthopedic surgeon, he specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy of the shoulder, hip, & knee, as well as regenerative medicine for the treatment of joint arthritis & muscle & tendon injury.

A member of the Louisiana Orthopedic Association, Garrison has also served as team physician for Grambling State University, is a published author & presenter of clinical research, & is a consultant & surgical skills instructor for surgeons in the USA, Europe, & Australia for minimally invasive direct anterior hip replacements.
