Ardoin joined the LSUA staff in July 2025.
He serves as the Generals' third base coach.
In his first season as an assistant coach, LSUA returned to the NAIA postseason an at-large bid after a 32-13 regular season. LSUA recorded a 7-4 win over #5 seed William Woods University. Landon Langley and Dalton Wilson earned First Team All-RRAC, while Evan Rohlfs-Schadel, Cade LaBruyere, and Nash Tamplet were named Second Team All-RRAC. Langley and LaBruyere also earned RRAC Gold Glove selections.
As a player at LSUA, Ardoin appeared in 162 games for the Generals from 2020 to 2023. He posted a career average of .362 with 20 home runs and 164 runs batted in. Ardoin stole 20 bases and scored 132 runs. He was named RRAC Freshman of the Year in 2021 and earned All-RRAC First Team Honors.
