ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball hosts William Carey University for a midweek match up and then Texas College for a three-game series in Red River Athletic Conference play.

THE GENERALS
The Generals enter this week with a 19-9 record, and an 8-4 record in RRAC play.
 
Dalton Wilson leads the Generals with an average of .429 and has driven 33 runs. Trevor Dooley (.358), Landon LAngley (.333), and Cade LaBruyere (.301) are all hitting .300 or above on the season. LaBruyere leads off with 34 runs batted in. LSUA are slashing .294/.434/.439 as a team, with 247 runs scored and 96 stolen bases.
 
Wilson was named the RRAC Player of the Week after going 11-for-15 against the University of the Southwest with five extra base hits, 12 runs batted in, nine runs scored, and two stolen bases. In the series finale, Wilson completed just the third-ever cycle in LSUA history. He completed the feat with an inside the park home run in the ninth inning.
 
Leading the pitching staff for the Generals continues to be Michael Sutton with a 4-3 record, holding an ERA of 3.79. He has tossed 38.0 innings, 27 strikeouts, and a WHIP of 1.34. Carter Fabre follows with a record of 4-2, 42.1 inning pitched, 37 strikeouts, and a WHIP of 1.63. LSUA has a team ERA of 6.76 and a WHIP of 1.81.
 
SCOUTING WILLIAM CAREY
The Crusaders are 18-9 overall, and 6-3 in the Southern States Athletic Conference play. Their home record is 11-6 after losing two of the three games against Faulkner University last week. They are 7-3 when playing away from home.
 
Hays Carley leads the offensive line with a batting average of .378, 24 runs scored, and an OBP of .526. William Carey has a slash line of .303/.443/.448, 222 runs and 60 stolen bases.
 
For the pitching staff, Matthew Davis has a record of 5-1, holding an ERA of 3.23. He has tossed 39.0 innings, 46 strikeouts, and a WHIP of 1.23. The Crusaders have posted a team ERA of 4.90 and a WHIP of 1.68.
 
The Generals are 6-26 all-time against William Carey University
 
SCOUTING TEXAS COLLEGE
The Steers are 2-12 overall, and 2-10 in the RRAC play. Their home record is 0-3 while having a 2-9 playing away record after losing to No.1 LSU Shreveport last weekend.
 
Leading the offensive line is Jermaine Brown with a batting average of .259, eight runs batted in, and an OBP of .344. Texas College has a slash line of .260/.370/.380, and 67 runs.
 
The Steers pitcher Will Lamb has a record of 0-2, holding an ERA of 7.31. He has tossed 16.0 innings, six strikeouts, and a WHIP of 1.94. Texas College posted a team ERA of 12.17 and a WHIP of 2.62.
 
LSUA is 41-10 all-time against Texas College.
