LAKE CHARLES, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandira women's tennis team fell in both ends of their doubleheader exhibition against DI McNeese State.
 
MATCH 1 | MSU 6, LSUA 1
Kanu Rajawat won her singles match over Ana Hollweg, in the lone Generals' victory of the the opener.
 
The Generals were swept in doubles. Nahia Echaide and Joline Roesch fell to Salome Fluri and Stella Rundova, 6-3. Rajawat and Giana Panaggio fell 6-3 to Ariane Morello Sanchis and Toffee Ghorab. Belen Blasco and Isabella Stuurman dropped their match 6-0 to Ana Hollweg and Elena Morales.
 
In singles, Rajawat recorded a 6-2, 2-6, 10-6 win over Hollweg.
 
MATCH 2 |  MSU 7, LSUA 0
In the second match, the Generals were swept in both singles and doubles.
 
Rajawat and Panaggio lost 6-3 to Salome and Rundova, while Roesch and Echaide fell by the same score to Hollweg and Morales. Blasco and Stuurman pushed Monlleo Sanchis and Ghorab to a 7-5 finish.
 
Echaide forced a third set during her singles match against Hollweg, but fell 6-1, 7-6, 10-6.
