ALEXANDRIA, LA- Coming off a big upset win and moving to first in Red River Athletic Conference play, the Generals looked to continue their win streak against the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana, where they would make that happen with an 87-73 win.
Generals wasting no time showing dominance against the Eagles as they came out of tip off ready to play, getting the lead and maintaining it for the entire first half.
The second half of play was no different as the Generals were up by double-digits the entire half seeing their largest lead of 24 points.
Not only did the Generals work to score, but they worked to rebound as they outrebounded the Eagles 42-31
JT Curry had another big night as he was the leading scorer with 24 points and eight rebounds. Four other Generals consisting of Natt, Allen, Perry and McQuillan also all saw double digit figures on the night.
Up next for the Generals is the Mustangs of University of the Southwest. The Generals will make the long trip to play on February 1
st and tip off will be at 7:30 PM.
