Generals Cruise Past Eagles

ALEXANDRIA, LA-The Generals keep the winning momentum going as they cruised past the Eagles of Williams Baptist, 9-0.
 
One minute into the game, Alexia Bermejo started the momentum for the Generals as she connected for her first goal of the game with an assist by Carolina Quast. 
 
There was no let up as the Generals went on to score seven more goals against the Eagles. 
 
Bermejo had a big day out on the pitch as she managed to score 3 of the nine goals and Quast able to score two of the nine. 
 
"The squad was sharp from the first minute.", said Coach Hammond, "Very clinical in front of goal today which is exciting. We will enjoy our win today and then turn our attentions to a big test on Monday".
 
The Generals will be back at home on September 4th, taking on Bethel University. Kick-off is set for 11:00 AM.
