ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals take down the Bulldogs in a comfortable victory.
After a cagy start to the game, the Generals found their rhythm and never looked back. Last night, LSUA (17-9, 11-7) averaged 59% from the field and 45% from three-point range. The Bulldogs (8-15, 6-13) averaged 42% from the field, and 35% from three-point range.
Desmond McQuain was the star for the Generals as he hit 4 key three pointers from way downtown. McQuain had a total of 17 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. McQuain wasn't the only one to have 17 points, as the consistent
Kashie Natt poured in 17 of his own.
It was a memorable night for
Jakemin Abney, as the Fort celebrated his 1000
th point which came last week in LSUA's game against Southwest. Abney had 13 points, 3 assists and 4 rebounds in last nights victory, which allowed him to celebrate in style.
David Favorite and
Jason Perry II also had double digit points last night.
The Generals were able to win 91-67, which will fill the team with confidence for their upcoming fixtures. Next up for the Generals is a home game against Texas College on Saturday February 18
