The Generals picked up another conference win over the Southwest Mustangs, defending The Fort with a score of 79-69. After picking up this win, the Generals move to 3-4 in conference play. 
 
Mustangs' Jahvonta Jones quickly got the Mustangs on the board with a 3-pointer. However, Jeremy Richard responded with a quick jumper, then a steal from Abney with the assist to Allen put the Generals in lead at the 18:00 minute mark of the first half. The Generals were able to control the lead until late in the 1^st half when the Mustangs began to heat up. The Mustangs were able to hold on to the lead until the last 5 minutes where the Generals regained control, going into half time up 42-39. The Mustangs put up a battle against the Generals, trying to make a comeback in the second half, but the Generals were able to pull away sealing another conference win.
 
Overall, the Generals shot a 44.6% on the night, and it was Kashie Natt who led the way in scoring with 18 points on the night. Natt went 7-11 from the field and 4-5 from the free throw line. Coming in right behind Natt was Jeremy Richard who had 17 points of his own. The Generals were also able to win the battle of the boards tonight grabbing 35 compared to the Mustangs 28. Joe Ayo led with 8 boards and Kashie Natt also was able to grab 7 as well. 
 
The Generals will be taking on Jarvis Christian next for more conference play. Tip-off in Hawkins, TX is set for 7:30 PM.
